Beterschap/Get well

Het is vandaag al een hele dag grijs en regenachtig dus ik had behoefte aan kleur. De sketch is van Our Creative Corner. Het papier van 'Me and My Big Ideas'. Nestabibltie: Labels four en een enkele bloem van Wild Orchid. De stempel is van Stamp-it en heb ik ingekleurd met cateye inkt. Het is een vrij rustig kaartje geworden deze keer. xoxoxo

Roze en groen/Pink and green

Met deze kaart doe ik mee aan twee challenges. De sketch is van Sketch Saturday en voor de challenge op Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge moest de kaart roze en groen met bloemen zijn. Het papier is van StudioLight, de stempel van TGF en de bloemen van Wild Orchid. Verder heb ik een nestabilitie gebruikt: Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Circles, de doily lace-pons van Martha Stewart en de takjespons van McGill. xoxoxo

Bloempot/Flowerpot

Deze leuke bloempot zag ik op de blog van splitcoaststampers en ik dacht gelijk die wil ik maken! Er staat een tutorial op de site die het heel goed uitlegt en het is helemaal niet zo moeilijk maar ziet er wel heel leuk uit, althans dat vind ik ;). De bloemen zijn gemaakt met de retrobloemenponsen van EK-Succes en van restjes cardstock. Ik ben benieuwd of jullie dit leuk vinden...

I saw this flowerpot on the blog of splicoaststampers and thought right away: yes, I also want to make this! There's a tutorial on their blog thats explains everything very well and it's not hard to make, but it looks really nice. Well at least I think so ;). The flowers are made from scraps of cardstock and I used the retropunches from EK-Succes. I'm curious to find out what you think of this...

Deze week heb ik het een beetje druk gehad en dus weinig tijd om een kaartje te maken, maar hier is er dan weer één! De stempel is van Penny Black en ingekleurd met copic ciao's. Het papier is van Basic Grey en Me&my Big ideas. De swirl is weer gemaakt met een Creatable. In de hartjes van het bloemenpapier heb ik nog liquid pearls gebruikt, ik moet natuurlijk wel blijven oefenen ;)

This week I was very busy and I had so little time to make a card, but I've done it! Stamp is Penny Black and I coloured it with copic ciao's. Papers are Basic Grey and Me&my Big ideas. The swirl is made with a Creatable. In the hearts of the flowers on the top paper I put some liquid pearls, I have to keep on practicing ;)

Penny Black saturday challenge week 92/Create4fun week 11

Bij dit kaartje heb ik 2 challenges gecombineerd: de sketch is van Creat4fun en bij PB vroegen ze om een kaartje in lentekleuren en met een PB-stempel natuurlijk. Het papier is van K&Company, de bloemen van Wild Orchid en Xenos. De swirls zijn gemaakt met de Creatables van Marianne design. Sketch Saturday93/Bubbly bears/Cute Card Thursday

Deze keer een kaartje van lieve beertjes. De stempel is van Penny Johnson (Stampavie). Papier is van Basic Grey: Wisteria. De roosjes zijn van Wild Orchid en daar heb ik nog wat glitters op gedaan. Aan de linkerkant van de cirkel heb ik getracht met liquid pearls, pareltjes in de schulpjes te doen. Ik vind het nog niet zo geweldig werken met die liquid pearls. Je knoeit makkelijk en soms zit er een luchtbel in en dan schiet 't er gelijk uit. Als iemand tips heeft, ze zijn van harte welkom!
Er zit nog geen tekst op de kaart zodat ik hem nog voor van alles kan gebruiken, huwelijk, samenwonen, verloven etc.

This time a card with some sweet bears. The stamp is Penny Johnson's(Stampavie). Papers are Basic Grey: Wisteria. Roses from Wild Orchid and I put some glitter on them. On the left side of the circle I used Liquid Pearls in the scalloped edge. I find Liquid Pearls hard to work with, it's very easy to make a mess and sometimes there's an airbubble inside and it just splashes out of the bottle. If somebody has a good trick, it's very welcome!
There's no sentiment on the card yet so I can use it for anything I need at a certain moment, like marriage, engagement, living together etc.

Rijles/Driving lessons

Vandaag wordt mijn neef 18 en hij gaat natuurlijk op autorijles. Ik heb me een ongeluk gezocht naar een geschikte afbeelding, uiteindelijk heb ik een kleurplaat gevonden op internet en daar een heleboel bij weggehaald zoals bosjes aan de achterkant. Daarna heb ik hem verkleind en uitgeprint. Hij is ingekleurd met copics. De kaart heb ik vrij rustig gehouden omdat jongens van 18 nou eenmaal niet zitten te wachten op bloemetjes e.d. Het papier is van Basic Grey: Offbeat. Op het dak van de auto heb ik nog een 'L' getekend en op de nummerplaat staan mijn neefs initialen en zijn geboortedag. Ik hoop maar dat hij hem leuk vindt. xoxoxo

Today my nephew turns 18 and offcourse he's going to get driving lessons. I searched everywhere to get the right picture, finally I found a colouring picture for children on the internet, I removed some of the details like bushes and printed it out. Then I coloured it with copics. I kept the card a bit simple because 18 year old boys don't like flowers etc. Papers are Basic Grey: Offbeat. On the roof off the car I drew an 'L' and on the license plate I put his initials and his birthdate. I hope he likes it. xoxoxo

Vriendjes/Friends

Gisteren even naar de hobbywinkel geweest en nog wat papier gekocht, en een multimal van Nellie Snellen. Ik heb ze allebei gebruikt bij dit kaartje. Het papier is van Basic Grey: Sugar Rush. De stempel is ook van Nellie: Koetie. De parels zijn van Prima Marketing en heb ik gekregen toen ik iets bestelde bij Marloes van Doe@ding. Ik vind het een echt lentekaartje geworden en jullie? xoxoxo

Yesterday I went to the craftshop for some paper and also bought a multi-template from Nellie Snellen. I used both on this card, the stamp is also Nellie's and is called: Koetie. Papers are Basic Grey: Sugar Rush. Pearls, from Prima Marketing,I got for free when I placed an order at the webshop of Doe@ding. I think it turned out as a springcard, what do you think? xoxoxo

Zoet kaartje/Sugarsweet card

Na de stoere drakenridder nu een superzoet meisjeskaartje. De stempel is van Bildmalarna, het papier weet ik niet meer en de bloemen zijn een combinatie van Wild Orchid roosjes, geponste bloemen(gele) en uit mijn voorraad. Ook heb ik de doily lace weer tevoorschijn gehaald. Ik benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden. xoxoxo

After the tough dragon now a very sugarsweet girly-card. Stamp is Bildmalarna, papers I don't know anymore, and the flowers are a combination of Wild Orchids roses, punched flowers (yellow ones) and my stash. I also found my doily lace-punch again. I'm looking forward to your comments. xoxoxo

Draakje/Dragon

Op het blog van Nicole loopt een uitdaging om een jongenskaart te maken met gebruik van deze digistempel bovendien moet je proberen om de schaduwen juist aan te geven. Dat viel nog niet mee moet ik eerlijk zeggen maar ik heb mijn best gedaan. Het draakje is ingekleurd met mijn copics. Het papier is van Basic Grey: Archaic, en de knoopjes van Artemio.xoxoxo

On Nicole's blog there's a challenge running to make a boyscard using this digistamp of the dragon and try to colour making shadows. That wasn't so easy but I dis my best. The dragon is coloured with my copics. Papers are Basic Grey: Archaic, and buttons are Artemio's. xoxoxo

Friday Sketchers week 90

Dit was een erg fijne sketch om mee te werken, ik ga hem zeker weten vaker gebruiken. De stempel is van Whipper Snapper en heet: Chester, alles is ingekleurd met mijn copics. Het papier is van October Afternoon. Het lint en de bloemen uit mijn voorraad. De grote bloem heb ik bijgekleurd met rode inkt van Cat-eye om hem niet weg te laten vallen tegen het papier.

This was a very fine sketch to work with, I'm sure I'm going to use it again sometime. Stamp is Whipper Snapper: Chester, and I coloured him with my copics. Papers are October Afternoon. Ribbon and flowers from my stash. The big flower I touched with red ink from Cat-eye so it wouldn't fade away in the background.

Mojo Monday 126

Weer eens mee gedaan met de sketch van Mojo Monday. Ik vind het werken met een sketch altijd heel leuk. Het papier is van Basic Grey en de stempel van Inkadinkado. Verder heb ik mijn naaimachine weer op tafel gezet ;). xoxoxo

Persoonlijke uitdaging/Personal challenge

Bij deze kaart wilde ik eens proberen om een kaart te maken zonder gestempeld poppetje of andere afbeelding. Het papier is van Little Yellow Bicycle en de vlinder is gemaakt met een nestabilitie. Ik heb ook voor de eerste keer mijn MS-pons: embossed zigzag, gebruikt.
Op de bovenste foto kun je zien hoe hij er uit ziet als hij is dichtgevouwen. Hij wilde niet plat blijven liggen dus dat was even moeilijk fotograferen. Ik vind hem wel aardig geworden, en jullie? xoxoxo

With this card I wanted to try and make a card without a stamped image of any kind. The papers are Little Yellow Bicycle and the butterfly is made with a nestabilitie. I also used my MS-punch: embossed zigzag, for the first time.
On the first photo you can see the card when it's folded but it wouldn't ly completely flat so it was hard to take a good picture. I think I did a reasonably good job, what do you think? xoxoxo

Shop till you drop...

Allemaal bedankt voor de leuke reacties op mijn vorige kaartje! Ik heb er zowaar ook nog een prijsje met gewonnen bij Sketch Saturday en gisteren heb ik hem aan mijn schoonmoeder gegeven want die was jarig.
Dit kaartje is voor de beste vriendin van mijn dochter die binnenkort twintig wordt en wat doen die meiden nou liever dan shoppen ;) Ik weet niet meer van wie het papier is want dat heb ik al heel lang liggen. De bloemen zijn van Wild Orchid.

Big thanks for everyone who made a comment at my last card! I won a price with it at the challengeblog of Sketch Saturday and yesterday I gave it to my mother-in-law because it was her birthday.
This card is for my daughters best friend who turns twenty soon and the girls always love to shop ;) Papers I don't know any more because I had them lying around for a very long time. Flowers are Wild Orchid.

Forever friends (Sketch Saturday)

De stempels van Forever Friends vind ik zo schattig en ze zijn ook zo leuk om in te kleuren. Voor deze kaart heb ik papier gebruikt van Basic Grey: Porcelain. De bloemen zijn van Wild Orchid en de grote bloem van Xenos ;). De takjespons van McGill heb ik ook weer eens uit de la gehaald,zo ook de randpons van Fiskars. Op die rand heb ik voor het eerst Liquid Pearls gebruikt.

The stamps of Forever Friends are so cute and so much fun to colour. For this card I used Basic Grey papers: Porcelain. Flowers are Wild Orchid except the great flower, it came from a cheap warehouse. I found the branch-punch from McGill again and also the edgepunch from Fiskars. On that edge I used Liquid Pearls for the first time.
