A Spoon Full off Sugar Challenge

Bedankt allemaal voor de leuke reacties op mijn vorige kaartje.
Dit kaartje is weer eens ouderwets gemaakt met behulp van een borduurpatroon van Chrissie. Het roze scrapvel met de hartjes heb ik ooit eens bij het kruidvat gekocht. Omdat ik geen stempel heb wat ik hierbij vond passen heb ik ook weer eens een knipvelplaatje gebruikt. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie hier van vinden. xoxoxo

This card is made with an embroidery pattern from Chrissie. The pink scrappaper I once bought in a cheap drugstore. Because I thought I had no stamp going with this pattern I used a 3D-cutting picture. I'm curious what you think of this one.xoxoxo

Sketch Saturday

Dit kaartje gemaakt met de sketch van Sketch Saturday. Ik vind het altijd leuk om een sketch te gebruiken en er dan je eigen draai aan te geven. Ik weet niet meer van wie het papier is (ik vermoed Basic Grey) en het is helaas bijna op. Deze stempel van Forever Friends vind ik zo lief. De hoeken links heb ik gemaakt met een pons van EK-Succes. Verder heb ik heb de MS-pons "Laticce" gebruikt, een ovale nestabilitie en bloemen van Mulberry. xoxoxo

I always like using sketches and make them your own. I just love this stamp of Forever Friends, I think he's so cute! These papers are almost gone and I don't know the brand anymore, sorry. The corners I made with a punch of EK-Succes. I also used a punch of Martha Stewart "Latticce", an oval nestabilitie and flowers from Mulberry. xoxoxo

Eerste kaart van het jaar/First card of the year

Eindelijk had ik weer eens tijd om een kaartje te maken, ik begon al afkickverschijnselen te krijgen hihi.
De stempel is van Inkadinkado, de tekststempel van Marianne Design. Papier is van October Afternoonen heet: South Forty. Het lint van Avec en de takjespons van McGill maken het af. Ik vind het wel een kaartje dat je naar een oudere man kunt sturen, zeg maar, de wijze uil ;). Wat denken jullie? xoxoxo

Finally I had some time to make a card, I was getting withdrawal symptoms hihi.
The stamp is from Ikadinkado and the sentiment from Marianne Design. Papers are October Afternoon: South Forty. The ribbon from Avec and the McGill leavepunch finish it off. I think it's a card you can send to a somewhat older man, what do you think? xoxoxo

Gelukkig Nieuwjaar!/ Happy New Year!

Langs deze weg wil ik iedereen bedanken voor alle lieve en leuke reacties op mijn blog. Toen ik hier in april mee begon had ik geen idee hoe leuk ik dit zou gaan vinden. Vooral het lezen van de reacties is iedere keer weer een feest! Ook het bezoeken van jullie blogs voor inspiratie is heel erg gezellig.
Ik wens iedereen een voorspoedig, gelukkig , gezond en vooral creatief 2010!!

Hi there!

Met dit kaartje ben ik een paar dagen bezig geweest. Ik had het zo druk met mijn werk en andere afspraken dat het er iedere keer niet van kwam. Het papier is van Basic Grey: porcelain. De tekst heb ik zelf gemaakt op de pc.

This card took a couple of days to make. I was so busy at work and with other appointments that there was no time left. The papers are Basic Grey: Porcelain. Sentiment I made myself on the computer.

Nora

Gisteren voor het tweede jaar geen Sinterklaas gevierd maar wel alvast de kerstboom gehaald en binnen in zijn pot gezet. Even kijken hoe het gaat met onze jongste kat ;), ik heb er alleen nog maar een paar onbreekbare ballen inhangen.
Maar goed nu over het kaartje: De stempel is van Swiss Pixies en heet Nora. Is ze niet lief? Ze is gekleurd met Copic markers. Mijn nestabilities Labels Four weer gebruikt en de bloemen zijn weer van Wild Orchid Crafts. Fijne zondag allemaal! xoxoxo

Yesterday I went to a farm and picked up our Christmastree and put it inside the house. There are just hanging a few unbreakable balls in it now because our youngest cat is very playfull and naughty ;)We'll see how it goes!
But now about the card: Stamp is from Swiss Pixies and called Nora. Isn't she sweet? She has been coloured with my Copic markers and flowers are once again from Wild Orchid Crafts. Have a fab Sunday everyone! xoxoxo

Deze stempel, marianne design, vorige week gekocht omdat ik vind dat hij zo een lieve snoet heeft. Papier van Joy gebruikt en mijn nestabilitie standard circle en voor de achtergrond mijn cuttlebugfolder Swiss dots. Bloemen zijn van Wild Orchid Crafts en het hart bij de blauwe bloemen heb ik lichtgekleurd met mijn blauwe copic marker.xoxoxo

Last week I bought this stamp because I couldn't resist his lovely face. Papers are Joy and I used my nestabilitie standard circle and the cuttlebugfolder Swiss dots. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and I touched the heart of the blue ones with my blue copic marker. xoxoxo

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 88: Boy Cards

Dit is mijn bijdrage voor de challenge bij Cute Card Thursday's blog. Het moest een jongenskaart zijn. Nu had ik pas heel leuk papier gekocht van Basic Grey: Archaic, waarvan ik dacht dat het perfect zou zijn voor een jongenskaart. Ik heb nu ook voor de eerste keer mijn naaimachine gebruikt voor een kaart. Het duurde even voor ik de juiste instellingen had gevonden maar ik vind het resultaat toch wel gaaf. Ga het zeker eens meer doen. De stempel en de tekst zijn van de Greeting Farm. Knoopjes uit mijn voorraad. xoxoxo

This is my card fot the challenge on the Cute Card Thursday Blog. It had to be a boyscard. Just last week I bought some Basic Grey Papers: Archaic, of which I thought they would be great for men and boycards. I also used my sewingmachine for the very first time on a card, I think it looks great and will do this some time again. The stamp and sentiment are The Greeting Farm, buttons from my stash.

Kikker met bloemen/Frog with flowers

Dit stempeltje had ik al een poosje liggen maar nog niks mee gedaan totdat ik deze sketch ergens tegenkwam en gelijk aan hem moest denken. De kikker is van Bildmalarna en het papier van Basic Grey: Wisteria. De tekst is van Stampinback. De roosjes zijn van Wild orchids crafts en de pareltjes van Joy. Ik heb twee keer mijn nestabilities gebruikt nml. "Ribbon Tags Trio" en "Standard Circles Small". Fijn weekend allemaal! xoxoxo

I can't believe I had this stamp laying around and not doing anything with it. Till my eyes fell on this sketch and I just had to use it. The frogstamp is from Bildmalarna en the papers are Basic Grey: Wisteria. Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from Joy. Hetzelfde maar dan anders/Different but the same

Ik heb dezelfde schets voor 2 verschillende kaarten gebruikt. Bij deze kaart heb ik papier van Basic Grey: Wisteria gebruikt en een stempel van Stamp-it. En voor het eerst mijn nestabilities Labels four! Bloemen zijn uit mijn voorraad.

Bij dit kaartje is het papier van My Minds Eye: Colorful Christmas en de stempel van Marianne Design. Ik ben benieuwd welke jullie beter geslaagd vinden. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar de bovenste. xoxoxo

Simpele kaart/simple card

Dit keer een vrij eenvoudige kaart. De stempel is van Stamp-it en het papier van My Minds Eye en heet Colorful Christmas. Ik heb een snijmal van Nellie Snellen gebruikt, de ronde deze keer.

Dit kaartje is gemaakt met een stempel van Wild Rose Studio en papier van SEI en Joy. De sterren komen uit een kit die ik eens heb gekocht bij 't Kruidvat.

Geen leuk nieuws/Sad news

Afgelopen nacht is mijn oma overleden, ze was 87 jaar.
Gisteren zijn we nog bij haar geweest, maar kon ze al niet meer praten. Ze is in augustus gevallen en heeft toen haar heupkop gescheurd daarna is het eigenlijk, door een fout in het ziekenhuis, steeds meer bergafwaarts gegaan met haar terwijl het zo'n sterke vrouw nog was.
Als jullie dus even niks van mij horen weten jullie waarom dat zo is.

Last night my grandmother past away, she was 87 years old.
Yesterday we went to see her and it was no good, she couldn't speak anymore. She fell in August and broke her hip. She has been in the hospital ever since and got setback after setback. And she was always such a strong woman. If you don't hear from me in a while you know why.

White Christmas

Dit was een erg leuk kaartje om te maken en niet zo heel moeilijk, ik heb er gelijk 4gemaakt. Ze gaan toch naar verschillende mensen. De stempel is van PSX: Santa Rosa.
Er is niet zo heel veel kleur gebruikt maar wel wat zilver glitter. De cirkel is geponst met een pons van Marvy.

This was a nice card to make, not that hard, I made 4 at the same time. They all go to different people so they never know. The stamp is from PSX: Santa Rosa. I didn't use much colour but added some silverglitter instead. The circle is made with a Marvy-punch.

Challenge: It's scraptime!

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor de challenge bij It's scraptime. Hij ziet er best ingewikkeld uit maar het valt allemaal wel mee. Ik vond het in ieder geval superleuk om te doen. De sketch krijg je. De stempel is van Stamp It en ik heb hem ingekleurd met Derwentpotloden. De teksten zijn van Marianne Design. Het papier is My Minds Eye. Hier nog een detailopname:
Het "frame" waarin de pinguin zit heb ik gemaakt met de multiframes van Nellie Snellen die ik zaterdag heb gekocht. Ook heb ik de MS-pons Doily lace gebruikt en wat roosjes en bloemetjes. Ik vind hem zelf superleuk geworden. Ik ben er best trots op "bloos"

This card I made for the challenge onthe blog of "It's scraptime". It looks complicated but it isn't. I enjoyed it very much to make it. The sketch is there's. The stamp is from Stamp It and I coloured it with my Derwent Pencils again. Paper is My Minds Eye and I used my MS-punch: Doily Lace. Then I added some roses and flowers. The "frame"around the penguin I made with the multiframes of Nellie Snellen. I like this card very much and I am a bit proud of it "shame"
