Een zoon/A son

Bij LIM deze week een babykaart. Ik heb gekozen voor een jongetje, meestal maak ik er gelijk 2 zowel voor een jongetje als voor een meisje maar ik ben aan het haken geslagen en momenteel helemaal verslaafd. Doe ook mee aan een facebookgroep waarbij je iedere week een stukje van een strependeken krijgt, zo leuk :). Maar goed, over de kaart, de stempel is van Clearly Besotted en ingekleurd met copics. De cirkels heb ik uitgeponst uit restjes. De giraf is verhoogd met foamtape opgeplakt. xoxoxo

At LIM this week a baby card. I've chosen a baby boy, usually I make two at the same time, a boys and a girls version but I ve been totally addicted to crochet these days. I joined in a facebook group where you got a little piece of a striped blanket every week and it's so much fun :). But anyway, about the card, stamp is Clearly Besotted and coloured with copics. Circles are punched out of scraps of paper I found lying around. The giraffe is stuck down with some foam tape. xoxoxo

Hartjes/Hearts

Mijn eerste kaartje dit jaar voor het LIM challengeblog. Eerst heb ik uit dun karton een soort sjabloon gesneden voor de strepen en daarna gesponst met Hero Arts Midtone inkt, Green hills, Pale tomato en Pool. De hartjes van Clearly Besotted zijn gestempeld met Verasmark en daarna geëmbossed met goud embossingpoeder van Ranger. Bij LIM vragen ze een one-layer kaart met hartjes en bij Clearly Besotted is het thema 'Love', de kaart doet mee mee met allebei de challenges. Ik vond het wel een aardig kaartje voor een 25-jarig huwelijk. xoxoxo

My first card this year for the LIM challengeblog. First I cut a template for the stripe pattern and then sponged with Hero Arts Midtone ink, Green hills, Pool and Pale tomato. The hearts are Clearly Besotted and are stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Ranger gold embossing powder. At LIM the theme is 'Hearts and one-layer', at Clearly besotted it's "Love'. This card is for both challenges. I think it's a nice card for 25th anniversary. xoxoxo

Het is jouw verjaardag/It's your birthday

Een kaartje gemaakt in pasteltinten. Het randje met de vlinders heb ik voorzichtig uitgeknipt. De vlinders zijn stempels van Clearly Besotted en Marianne Design, en sommige zijn gemaskerd. Aan de binnenkant van de kaart een randje lichtblauw papier (Basic Grey) geplakt voor het contrast. De donkere vlinders lijken hier zwart maar zijn in het echt bruin, net als de tekst. xoxoxo

A card in pastel colours. The edge with the butterflies I carefully cut out. Butterflies are stamps of Clearly Besotted and Marianne Design, and some of thm I masked of. On the inside of the card I stuck down a small poiece of light blue paper (Basic Grey) for the contrast. De darkest butterflies seem black in this picture but in real life they're brown, just like the sentiment. xoxoxo

Overhemd/Shirt

Iedereen de allerbeste wensen voor 2014, veel liefde, gezondheid en geluk!
Deze kaart is gemaakt voor onze neef die vandaag 19 wordt. Een jongeman vind ik altijd moeilijk, het is al gauw te kinderachtig maar toen ik van deze een voorbeeld tegenkwam op Pinterest vond ik hem gelijk leuk. Het dp is van My Minds Eye, uit een oude lijn, en heet BellaBella French Flea Market. De stiksels zijn gedaan met wit DMC borduurgaren en de knoopjes zijn van een oude bloes van mij ;).
Nu ga ik snel eens langs bij jullie blogs om te kijken of jullie iets hebben gedaan tijdens de kerstdagen, ik had 2 weken blogvrij genomen. xoxoxo

This card is made for a nephew who's turning 19 today. For a young man I find it always hard to make a nice card, it's often quickly childish but when I saw this one on Printerest I knew it would work. The dp is My Minds Eye, an old line, and it's called BellaBella French Flea Market. The stitches are made with DMC embroidery thread and the buttons are from an old blouse of mine ;).
Now I'm going to visit all the blogs of you I've missed over the last 2 weeks, I took a 2 week blog free holiday. xoxoxo
